What can i say, somebody's got a lot of time in their hands....lol

Yahoo featured Cold Play's new music video for their popular song "Viva La Vida" this morning. Now don't get me wrong but i have to say that as much as i love the song I have to admit I'm not too crazy about the video. It's a great concept making the video look like a painting to connect it with the album cover which features Delacroix's "Liberty Leading The People." Some cool effects in the beginning, a few paint cracks here and there and they called it a day. You would think that with the popularity of the song and the band's following they would invest a higher budget or at least refrain themselves from hiring a director with the imaginative equivalence of a 12 year old. I love Cold Play, I love their music but their new video is crap, i much prefer the iPod ads. The video is quite repetitive. Chris singing and doing some weird arm movements, then some instruments, and again Chris singing followed by more instruments. It seems as if Chris ran out of fresh ideas and is just repeating the same awkward movements, not to mention the equally awkward puppet-like motions he makes a minute and 37 seconds into the video. The lighting is amazing though, i must admit I'm quite pleased with it, but as a whole the video fails to impress. I don't claim to be an expert, this is merely my take on things. But don't take my word for it judge for yourself...=]

It was brought to my attention that i haven't posted anything about my WoW character when a fellow blogger threatened to "gank" my level 13 mage with her blood elf...much to her surprise that post is a few months old and that mage, well let's just say she's no longer a noob...i've actually leveled her up quite a bit to say the least. I dont have a pic of my character right now because i havent been taking screen shoots in a while but lets just say she will own that blood elf bitch...if not i can alway use Dalduun.he's a level 60 shaman so i know he'll own that elf no problem...The following is the most recent picture i have of her but its not up to date.

I'VE NOT KNOW OBSESSION TILL THIS DAY...Chris let me have a free 10-day trial he got when he bought the game in hopes that i would be his perfect gamer girlfriend, needless to say i think it worked. it made him really happy that i picked it up so fast but most importantly that i want to continue playing...i will have to pay the $14.99/month in order to continue but its worth it.

 Im just a level 13 Mage so far but i've only been playing for about 3 days. It can get a little frustrating at times. Specially considering im always playing with chris who has more time to develope his character who just so happens to be on level 18 and makes me look bad all the time by killing pretty much anything that moves in seconds while i struggle to get just one fireball on their asses....i have developed some pretty cool skills though...i have the firebolt, fireball, and some other ones that slow down my attacker. This reminds me of the time i got addicted to Resident Evil. yeah they're completely different games but its the action and uncertainty of what lies on the other side of that door that got me....i played for almost 24 hours straight before i knew it wasnt normal ( at least not for me). ok ok my mom made me stop. i kept telling my brother i'd let him play in an hour and that hour never came so he ratted me out...BASTARD!!! But it was all for the best i guess...=]...so this is what my character looks like

Considering i've been a bit under the wheather, the past few days have been a blur.  Now that im at work my day's been spent hopelessly surfing the web for the the ultimate form of entertainment, which needless to say has been a complete and total failure, which is why im here.  Since this is my first post i feel it my duty to introduce myself to whom ever wishes to peek into my oh so interesting world. Wow can you detect the sarcasm?


I'M THE GIRL...
that might seem shy at first but underneath is quite the opposite. that never takes herself too seriously. that doesn't watch what she eats by counting points, carbs, or calories. that could listen to music for the rest of her life and still believe it was a life not wasted (although others might not agree). that believes a life without music would be torture. that carries her iPod with her everywhere she goes. that plays guitar, violin and hopes to learn drums, bass, and harmonica too. that lives for the pit. that screams lyrics at the top of her lungs at a show. that still listens to Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley...et­c. that loves to see you smile. that with the right person will enjoy cuddling and holding hands. that loves to make out in the rain. that's an emotional train wreck (not in a sad depressing kind of way). that while struggling with her "commit­ment issues,"­ would give her heart completely to the one she loves. that hates cheesy pick up lines. that knows better than to believe this world's the makings of a big explosion in outter space. that believes life's too short, beautiful, and random to take for granted. that while struggling with her own faith and questioning God's excistance still believes there's got to be a greater being watching over us.

I'M THE NERD...
that loves to watch the discovery channel. that loves to watch Star Wars, Superman, Spiderman, and Batman movies. that loves George Lucas and worships the ground he walks on. that considers "geekiness"­ and "shyness"­ a turn on. that sat for three hours at a theater to watch Lord of the Rings, with her cousin (vero) bugging every 5 minutes and still came out saying she had a great time. that would rather watch a movie with a friend that go out and party. that would choose to visit a museum rather than staying home watching TV all day. that loves to read, no matter how uncool you people say it makes me. that according to carla and brian spends entirely too much time at the libray. that tries entirely too hard in school, although it might be useless at this point. that while attempting to engage in a philosophica­l conversation­ might end up making a bigger *** of herself than anyone else in history.

that values friendship and love above everything else. that loves to meet new people and will do the impossible to get to you. that would move mountains, walk on water, and fly around the world to help a friend in need. that would do anything in her power to make you smile and brighten your day.

that has a hard time finding her own house sometimes so you can guess just how bad i am with addresses and that sort of stuff. that used to fall for the wrong guy. that would never tell him how she feelt about him, letting him get away in the process. that could kikk her own ass for taking her sweet ass time discovering what a wonderful guy CHRIS is. that on ocassions might need a little push in the right direction.

WHO GIVES A FUKK!!!

As most of you know, yesterday was the beginning of the end of the world. At least that's what millions of people thought when they continued to talk about the miniscule little earthquake we had yesterday, hours after it occured. They just would not let the it die. We live in california people, which in case they didn't know is extremely earthquake prone. Nagging about it is like a person in Kansas complaining about a tornado. I mean shit come on not even Dorothy complained as much as you fukkers. Take the Northridge earthquake for example. Now that was an earthquake. Yesterdays little burp was a 5.8, which is nothing in comparison to the magnitued of the 6.7 we had at northdridge in 94. I for one had a blast watching all those retards come running out of their offices with blank stares in their faces. I certainly cant wait for the next one. Oh yeah thats right, in case you retards didn't know california's due for a "big one". So start securing those oh so "valuable" picture frames and polishing those floors under your table because you will be kissing them pretty soon. And unless the next one is at least a 6.2 dont bother talking about it incessantly like you did with this one. Move on people, for the love of God move on. Im tired of walking in to a room and being asked how i handled it. I obvioulsly didnt die so you know i couldn't possibly have anything interesting to report.
